Mars McGregor
Mars McGregor (they/them) is a passionate singer/songwriter and performer who enjoys playing all types of music. Their main background is in pop, rock, and folk, though they do have experience in classical music as well.

Mars is a recent graduate of Carleton University’s Bachelor of Music program, specializing in the singer/songwriter stream. They are able to teach varied genres of songwriting as well as beginner piano and guitar. Mars’ approach to teaching aims to help students foster creativity and express themselves, while forming a meaningful connection to their own love of music.
Outside of teaching, Mars spends time with their cat Jellybean, listens to angsty indie songs, and performs locally (under the stage name “Mars Aspen”). They are in the process of recording an upcoming EP and their latest releases can be found on all streaming platforms. ​​​
